This series was created for DREAMLAND SIRENS, an exhibition by Charlotte Colbert, curated by Simon de Pury and UTA Artist Space. The show featured a sound collaboration between Colbert and Isobel Waller-Bridge. The show, taking inspiration from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, invited us to become aware of what we dream and visualise collectively.

With this surrealist, Alice in Wonderland-inspired series, we enter a space of alternative reality where conventions are revealed to be absurd and arbitrary, ultimately enabling us to question and reimagine our own belief systems.

"Some people believe that what connects us all is mycelium. I love the idea of this network of mushrooms within our bodies, our minds, the mud, and the trees, which connects us all and silently whispers to our minds. It is interesting the idea of the archetypes—how you see the same symbols and imagery popping out all over the world in completely different places and societies. Like the eye, for example… I was reading that in a few mythical religious origin stories, humans were said to come from the tears of gods."
